According to the announcement of IAF, the conversion period of IS045001: 2018 is three years from the date of release of the standard, that is, from March 12, 2018 to March 11, 2021. All certificates issued under the GB/T 28001-2011/OHSAS 18001: 2007 standard must be converted within the transition period. The GB/T 28001-2011/OHSAS 18001: 2007 certificate will be released in March 2021. It will expire on the 12th.

According to the Announcement No. 30 of 2015 issued by the National Accreditation and Regulatory Commission on September 28, 2015, the Announcement of the National Accreditation and Regulatory Commission on the Work Arrangement of the Replacement of the Certification Standards of the Management System, the requirements of the IAF 2016-15 resolution, the relevant conversion requirements of IAF MD21 and the CNAS-EC-05 0:2018 "Instructions for the Recognition and Conversion of Certification Standards from GB/T 28001-2011 to ISO 45001:2018", we explain the conversion of ISO18001 to ISO45001 as follows:

I. Application for certification

1. From now until March 12, 2020, POSI can still accept certification applications, implement audits and issue certification certificates in accordance with the GB/T 28001-2011/OHSAS 18001: 2007 standard.

II. Certification certificate

1. From March 12, 2018, the valid deadline for all approved certificates issued with the CNAS recognition mark in accordance with the GB/T28001-2011/OHSAS18001:2007 standard is unified to March 11, 2021.

2. Customers need to submit an application for certification conversion according to the ISO45001:2018 standard to POSI 3 months before the expiration of the certificate to complete the conversion work and ensure the continuous validity of the certificate.

III. Conversion method

There are the following conversion methods for certified customers who are currently certified according to the GB/T28001-2011/OHSAS18001:2007 standard:

1. Combined with routine supervision and audit conversion

The certificate issued according to the GB/T28001-2011/OHSAS18001:2007 standard, the deadline is March 11, 2021. After completing the conversion of the new version of the standard, the remaining cycle of the original certificate will be restored, that is, the three-year cycle of the restored certificate.

For example, the validity period of the original certificate is from August 1, 2019 to March 11, 2021. After the conversion, the deadline for the new certificate will be changed to: July 31, 2021.

2. Combined with re-certification audit conversion

The certified customer chooses to re-certify the audit and convert. The effective date of the new certification certificate is the date of reissue, and the deadline is three years after the deadline of the previous certificate.

3. Apply for special audit arrangement

After completing the conversion of the new version of the standard, the remaining cycle of the original certificate will be restored, that is, the three-year cycle of the restored certificate.

IV. Conversion review time

According to the requirements of IAF MD21, the audit time of POSI to implement conversion review for certified customers requires at least 1 person's day of audit on the basis of the specified auditor's day, in order to cover the existing and new requirements in the ISO45001:2018 standard. The specific additional audit time is by POS I It depends on the actual situation of the organization.

V. Preparation for the conversion of certificates of the certified organization

1. Formulate a conversion plan for the conversion of certification standards;

2. Analyze the differences between the old and new standards, and formulate effective control measures based on the specific situation of your unit;

3. Conduct comprehensive training for relevant personnel in the company, and conduct conversion training for internal auditors;

4. In combination with the identified differences, revise the existing occupational health and safety management documents in accordance with the requirements of the new version of the standard and implement them.

5. Complete the internal audit and management review for the ISO 45001:2018 standard conversion.
