As of October 27, a total of 199,000 overseas buyers from 212 countries and regions had participated in the meeting, an increase of 3.4% over the same period last year. Among them, there are 130,000 buyers from countries to jointly build the "Belt and Road", accounting for 65.6%, an increase of 4.8%; 41,000 buyers from the BRICS countries, accounting for 20.8%, an increase of 2.2%; 41,000 European and American buyers, accounting for 20.8%, an increase of 6.1%; 27,000 buyers from the Middle East, accounting for 1 3.7%, an increase of 37.4%. Overseas buyers highly affirm high-quality made in China and said that the Canton Fair is an important bridge for them to explore cooperation opportunities and an excellent stage for achieving mutual benefit and win-win results.

"Green, novel and fashionable" is the biggest highlight of the second issue. There are more than 2,300 high-quality enterprises with the titles of national high-tech enterprises, manufacturing single champions, specialized new giants, etc., an increase of nearly 900 over the previous edition. Green low-carbon products are all over the exhibition area, becoming a "weasp" for enterprises to develop the market and are deeply favored by overseas buyers.

At the award ceremony of the 2024 Canton Fair Design Innovation Award, a total of 147 awards from 120 enterprises were awarded, showing the strong strength and brand-new image of "China's intelligent manufacturing" and "China's creation" for innovation, quality and brand. Experts and scholars from Sun Yat-sen University and Tsinghua University, well-known design experts, Canton Fair Design Innovation Award judges and representatives of award-winning enterprises share around global design innovation trends, new ecology of industrial development, brands going abroad and other topics, and explore new paths for design innovation to drive industrial upgrading.

The second phase of the exhibitors uploaded a total of 1.59 million exhibits on the online platform, including a total of 910,000 new products, independent intellectual property products, green low-carbon products and intelligent products, a significant increase over the previous period, with a total of 943,000 overseas visitors. The newly launched Canton Fair App has attracted nearly 70,000 downloads and uses, providing convenient and efficient mobile services for exhibitors. Exhibitors said that the online platform of the Canton Fair "never ends" has effectively broken through the time and space limitations of offline exhibitions, and realized the intelligence, convenience and normalization of exhibition display, supply and procurement docking, business negotiation, information exchange and other links, which has greatly improved the participation experience and also created subsequent trade transactions with overseas buyers. The third phase of the 136th Canton Fair will be held from October 31 to November 4th. With the theme of "Good Life", it is divided into five major sections: toys and pregnant and infant, fashion, home textiles, stationery, health and leisure, with a total of 21 exhibition areas and 11,703 offline exhibitors, among which the imported exhibitions are from 2 257 enterprises from 9 countries and regions participated in the exhibition.
